Roasted Pecans
1cup of pecans
2 tsp of butter
½ tsp of sea salt
Toffee Mixture
454g/16ounces/2cup of butter
2cup of sugar
½ tsp of sea salt
250g of chocolate
lay parchment paper on a baking pan.
Roasted Pecans
Spread pecans on baking pan and roast at 250°, until brown and become aromatic. (est. 10 mins)
Melt unsalted butter and stir with the roasted pecans and salt for taste.
Put the pecans back in the oven for another 5 mins
Toffee
Melt butter over medium heat in a wide pot, stir sugar and salt in until mixture loses its grainy texture .
Once the mixtures turn into a deep amber color, remove from heat and pour into the pan.
Warning ! the mixture is extremely hot.
Let the mixture cool for 10 mins and sprinkle chocolate evenly across the top.
The chocolate will begins to melt , use an spatula and spread it smooth.
Sprinkle the pecans evenly across the chocolate and press in gently .
Let the toffee to cool down for about 4-6hours, until it harden and become brittle.
Break them into bite size and store in airtight container.
